Ship's Senior Officers
The Polly Dodger is captained by the she-wolf known as Captain la Bella Chelle. Her beauty is second only to her ruthlessness. Under Chelle's command, The Polly Dodger pillages French and Spanish ships of the line and brings home to England, treasure equal value to that of the sacked-monestaries, (ordered by the king in starting the new Church of England).
Chelle was one of the orignial Skulk of the Black Fox members and of its highest ranks. Her beauty legendary and her poisons lethal, she was able to charm her way onto another ship of Revel Grove, The Raging Hormone. Chelle was taken captive for a time by the First Mate of The Screaming O. Rescued by the Skulk, she was approached by Sir Black Fox to command The Polly Dodger and accepted the commission.
Sir "Bloody" Black Fox is no stranger to the sea. For Ten long years he was a member of the Royal Navy and has the scars upon his back to prove his level of insubordination.
Having been knighted by Henry VIII, "Fox" has ventured the capital to build The Polly Dodger in hopes that the mighty she-wolf-Captain will turn him a profit. Fox may be a portly man of honor but with cider within his grasp, there is virtually no limit to the amount of flirting and pyrate behavior he may exude.
You might not have to watch your back around him but keep an eye on your cider!
Mistress of The Lists Scribbles (Information to come)
Navigator Amras Elfwine Amras Elfwine was pressed into the Royal Navy as a lad, rising from cabin boy to bosun. He decided to switch to privateering when, after donkey riding in the Tortugas, he realized that in pirate ports, the women seemed more comely, the rum more plentiful and the retirement system much more reliable. Happy to start life over as a deck hand on the Polly Dodger, Amras is absolutely loyal to his Captain and his ship mates, and still "swings a cat" with the best of them.
She has been called "The Belle," "Covetous Cin," "The Maid of Mandeville," and "The Lover of New Orleans & Lee" (but not necessarily in that order). At two separate times, Louisiana Governors have condemned, exonerated and again condemned her cooking. She is known for her morale-building skills and love of piracy in the Gulf of Mexico, and lauded for her semi-knowledge of the heroism during the Battle of New Orleans. Each personae seems to balance the other. She does not care to be called "pirate," for, as she sees it, she is a pin-wearing paid-in-full guild member of the "privateers" serving an economic purpose in an economically frugal time in a new country that needs to economize and drink plenty of filtered water, which she keeps under the check-out counter at Little Bullseye for all her crewmates. She is Morale Officer Belle Mandeville of the Polly Dodger.
